Crackdown 2 Is Backwards Compatible on Xbox Now

More Agency shenanigans for you, here.

Crackdown 2

Crackdown 2 is now part of the Xbox Backwards Compatibility Program, as Major Nelson announced on Twitter, following in the footsteps of Crackdown 1 that joined the program a month ago. Additionally, Crackdown 2 is available for free, too.

That means that all of the Crackdown games are available to play on Xbox One now, with the third entry in the franchise having released just last month. In fact, with the first two Crackdown games being free to play on Xbox One and Crackdown 3 being part of the Xbox Game Pass program, you can play the whole franchise for $9.99.

In his review of Crackdown 3, Ash found some enjoyment with the game, but felt that the experience was somewhat archaic:

“Though there are moments here that’ll bring a smile to your face, Crackdown 3 is crammed with ideas and game design choices that were done better over a decade ago. Just play the original game and wash your hands of this version.”
