Like in the first Blasphemous, there are plenty of ways to augment the strength and resilience of The Penitent One in Blasphemous 2. One that you may recall from the first game is the ability to add to The Penitent One’s Rosary, which allows you to equip additional Rosary Knots of your choosing in order to change your stats, resistances, and other attributes.
However, considering the size of the map in this sequel, it might be a while before you find the NPC who can allow you to increase your Rosary Knots in Blasphemous 2. That’s why we’ve marked her location on the map for you.
How To Increase Rosary Knots
You’ll find her in the Street of Wakes area on the far right side of the map.Furthermore, once you’ve found her, her place will be marked on the map by a special symbol that looks like a rope with knots tied into it. This is where you’ll want to return every time you find you find an item called an Abandoned Rosary Knot throughout Blasphemous 2
You’ll begin the game with one Rosary Knot and can begin to assign them from the menu almost from the very start of the game. You’ll only be able to assign one, though, and must find the other four Abandoned Rosary Knots across the map as you explore your way through the game.
Eventually, by the time you’ve seen even 50-60% of the map, you’ll be able to have found all four Abandoned Rosary Knots, and at that point, you will be able to equip The Penitent One with five total augmentations of your choosing. Just note that the Mysteries that you can place into the five knots are separate items and must be either found or purchased from vendors in addition to the Abandoned Rosary Knots.
