During their Into The Abyss event at E3, Pearl Abyss made the announcement that their popular MMO Black Desert will be making its way to the PS4 in 2019. Pre-orders will be going live on July 2nd, and they’ll include early access to the full game along with some additional in-game bonuses and rewards. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Kwangsam Kim, the Lead Producer of Black Desert at Pearl Abyss, said in a press release: “Our team has been working diligently to make Black Desert the best that it can be, and we’re finally ready to reward our patient player base. If you’ve been looking for a open-world action MMORPG on the PS4 with deep personalization to fit your gameplay experience, we encourage you to pre-order this July.”

A console port of the popular PC MMO Black Desert Online, the PS4 version will follow the same path as the Xbox One, with an updated UI that’s optimised for a console experience, along with 4K support through the PS4 Pro. On top of that, Black Desert Mobile will be launching worldwide in 2019 on iOS and Android devices. At least that’ll be a worldwide deal, unlike the recent Phantasy Star Online 2 announcement.
