10 Best E3 2019 Trailers: Zelda, Banjo, Cyberpunk & More

Banjo is here.

Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077

While E3 2019 might not have been the biggest E3 ever or have many truly mind-blowing moments, it still had a good amount of trailers. Whether they’re pre-rendered (and potentally lying to us, but don’t worry about it) or gameplay footage, these trailers were the ones that impressed us the most in no particular order.

We’ve put together a video will our favourite E3 2019 trailers.

Or you can read on for the written version below.

The Best E3 2019 Trailers

1. GhostWire: Tokyo | TBC

This one looks mad, but we know next to nothing about it. People go missing in Tokyo, you have to find out what’s going on. Don’t even have platforms confirmed yet, so next gen looks likely.

2. Elden Ring | TBC

While the copious leaks might have diminished the wow factor of Elden Ring somewhat, GRRM getting his macabre fingers into the action RPG pie is enough to get us very excited still.

3. Cyberpunk 2077 | April 16th, 2020

Keanu Reeves is in Cyberpunk 2077, which is neat as heck, but let’s not forget that we actually have a release date for this now too. We never thought this day would come.

4. Halo Infinite | Holiday 2020

A Project Scarlett launch title, the lack of concrete info surrounding Halo Infinite didn’t stop us from wanting to finish the fight. Again. Chief looks a superb shade of green in this one, too.

5. DOOM Eternal | November 22nd, 2019

As soon as we saw this incredibly hype story trailer for DOOM Eternal, we burned all our clothes and challenged the sun to a wrestle. So yeah, it does its job pretty well.

6. Deathloop | TBC

All we know about Deathloop is that it’s Spy vs Spy meets Dishonored and that it’s something we didn’t know we wanted until we saw it. No release date or platforms whatsoever for this one, so expect next-gen.

7. Marvel’s The Avengers | May 2020

While the dissonance of these Avengers and the ones we’ve been watching on the big screen for years is difficult to overcome, Marvel’s The Avengers still looks like it has plenty to offer. But yeah, put some respect on Hawkeye’s name.

8. Final Fantasy VII Remake | March 3rd, 2020

Fans have waited forever for an extended look at the Final Fantasy VII remake, and they got that at Square Enix’s E3 2019 presser. Tifa looks incredible, as does pretty much every inch of this thing. We are even swayed on the combat change.

9. Breath of the Wild Sequel | TBC

This deeply unsettling sizzler for the Breath of the Wild follow-up doesn’t exactly give much away, but it looks like Zelda herself may play a bigger role — and maybe we can even play as her this time.

10. Banjo Smash | Fall 2019

The leaks were true, but that didn’t stop it from being an awesome moment. Nice rug-pull with the Duck Hunt guys, too.

What was your favourite trailer from E3 2019? Was it DOOM Eternal? Good.
