Bandai Namco And DONTNOD Releasing Twin Mirror Next Year

Twin Mirror

Sony have been drip feeding new game announcements over the past couple of days as part of their “Countdown To E3”, with Tetris Effect being announced on Wednesday and the release date for Days Gone being dropped yesterday. Today, Sony have announced a new game from Bandai Namco and Dontnod, a narrative thriller called Twin Mirror.

Taking place in the sleepy town of Basswood, you take on the role of Sam, who has returned to his hometown for the funeral of his best friend. After being left dejected by his former friends, he wakes up in his hotel room the next day with a blood covered shirt and no memory of how it happened.

In order to find out what happened, you’ll have to explore your own dreams and memories to find the truth. Also, the main character seems to be beating up a ghostly figure during the trailer. Strap in people, sounds like Twin Mirror is going to be a weird one.

Though the game was announced during a Sony event, Twin Mirror will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Check out the trailer below, and check back tomorrow for more coverage from E3 2018.
