One of the shining lights of a very underwhelming E3 last year was Devolver Digital’s promotion from the parking lot to the big time. Sort of. A barmy and wonderful pre-recorded segment parodied the current state of the gaming industry in ridiculous fashion and the memes that were born could keep 9GAG alive for several decades.
It wasn’t certain that Devolver would be returning for E3 2018, but we’re glad they are. By far the “smallest” conference at the convention, Devolver will likely go even harder than they did last year with the likes of EA and Activision giving them plenty of material to work with. Best of all, they will actually have new games to showcase this year.
If you want to follow down Devolver’s rabbithole at E3 2018, here’s everything you need to know about their pseudo-conference, including start times and where you can watch it.
When is Devolver Digital’s E3 2018 Conference?
Devolver Digital’s E3 2018 conference will take place on Sunday, June 10 at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET (June 11 at 4 AM for BST / 3 AM for GMT / 1 PM for AET). That’s going to be a hard one to stay up for for Europeans, but power naps, people. Power naps.
Where can I watch Devolver Digital’s E3 2018 conference?
You can either open the most convenient portal to Hell, or simply head on over to Twitch’s official stream to watch the madness unfold. No news yet on alternatives, but there are bound to be some embeds on sites like IGN and Polygon if you’re in the area.
Which games will be on display at Devolver Digital’s E3 2018 conference?

As Devolver themselves pointed out, you can’t have retail leaks if you don’t publish retail. They’ve managed to avoid the grand leakapocalypse of 2018, which means that their line-up for E3 is one that’s more than just a little bit interesting.
We have some idea of what to expect from Devolver this year, however, with a closer look at SCUM being likely. There’s some bubbling hype for the hardcore survival game (of sorts) so expect Devolver to spend some time going through SCUM in more detail.
Elsewhere, The Talos Principle 2 has been in the offing for a long while, so expect the puzzle game that beat The Witness to the same punch to have some kind of proper debut. As long as they stick to Jeff Goldblum references abd existentialism, it should be a keeper.
However, Devolver have said that they will be revealing some brand new, unannounced games at this year’s E3, which leaves the door open for plenty of opportunities. A new Serious Sam game is in the works, though it may be too soon for that to see airtime just yet. The guys behind Shadow Warrior, Flying Wild Hog, have been a little quiet lately, so watch this space.
As for what we want to see (which is all that really matters), Hotline Miami 3 would be wish fulfilment at its finest. If not a new game in the series, then something from Dennaton would be very welcome as they’ve been AWOL since the release of Wrong Number in 2015.
Also, as an aside, there will be continuity in the “story” between the E3 2017 presentation and 2018’s, whatever that means.
