Fortnite: Search a Golden Llama Between a Junk Yard, Gas Station and RV Campsite

We’re now entering week 9 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2, meaning that we almost at the end of our Battle Pass challenges. If you’ve unlocked him on tier 100 of the Battle Pass, you will want to take on Midas’ Missions in the hopes of unlocking his Ghost or Shadow styles.

These skin-specific challenges have been going on throughout the entirety of the season with every two weeks belonging to a respective “agent”. For week 1 of Midas’ Missions, you need to Search a Golden Llama between a Junk Yard, Gas Station and RV Campsite.

This is a classic Fortnite challenge that asks you to hunt down something in the middle of three hints. It’s become a little less frequently used as a challenge as the seasons have gone by, so it’s always nice to see it make a return.

Golden Llama Between a Junk Yard, Gas Station and RV Campsite Map Location

The Golden Llama can be found in a little garage of sorts near a bridge to the south of Steamy Stacks.

You will find the Golden Llama inside, mounted on the wall above the red toolbox. All you need to do is go up to it and use your interact button.

This is a spot where pretty much nobody ever lands, though you are going to have a lot of trouble this week. If someone breaks the Golden Llama, we presume nobody else will be able to search it, either. This could be a very frustrating challenge.

The Junk Yard is to the south, the Gas Station to the west, and the RV Campsite is slightly north. The Golden Llama location is where all three of these converge.

To complete Midas’ Missions, you will need to tick this challenge and every single one off, meaning that you will be able to unlock his new styles as early as next Thursday. You have to choose smartly as whichever one you pick will be permanent.

Elsewhere in Fortnite, Epic recently announced that this season would be extended until early June and not late April as expected. They didn’t give a reason, though you’d have to assume it has a lot to do with what’s going on in the world right now.
