After the announcement that there would be an announcement on August 5th (marketing is weird and I don’t like it), 2K have shared the first two screenshots for the upcoming WWE 2K20.
First up, we have the human sweat gland known as Brock Lesnar.
That’s Brock, alright, right down to the phallic tattoo. There’s a tonne of definition to the skin that catches the eye along with his signature scowl.
The second screenshot focuses on Bayley, who is far too pure for this world.
As it’s a shot from behind, there’s really not too much to gather from this one, just that it is certifiably Bayley with that ponytail. They even have her inflatable guys, which is a nice touch.
This is just the start of a bunch of announcements due on August 5th, which includes this year’s cover star along with supposedly more than they have ever revealed before pre-release. Considering the 2K20 is a little late out of the gate with previous games being teased in June, that makes sense.
We enjoyed 2K19 a lot and appreciated the slightly more arcade-y hook. We will have to see if they keep to that this year.
