2K Games have announced that they will be officially revealing a host of WWE 2K20 details on August 5th, with today’s tweet showcasing the first ever peek of the game. Just look at how impressive Brock Lesnar looks down below, but let’s cross our fingers he isn’t the cover star again. Please.

On August 5th, 2K Games will be revealing the cover star of the game, along with the first ever gameplay footage. The tweet also promises “more details than we’ve ever shared at announce”, so it’s reasonable to expect a comprehensive roster announcement, along with any new modes and features that’ll be coming to the game. Also, probably a release date.
Considering that last year’s iteration was announced in June and came out in October, one has to wonder whether or not WWE 2K20 will be getting a later launch this year, possibly somewhere in the region of November/December. If the extra time before release means that WWE 2K20 is the most polished game in the series, we’re all for it.
