What Was Your Favourite Game Of January 2020?

Kakarot? Journey to the Savage Planet? Maybe something older?

A new year means a decent chance to catch up on your backlog of games with not much new stuff coming out, the game release schedule holding back like that Braveheart scene before unleashing utter chaos down the line.

I fully intended to catch up on a few games last month, but erm, you know the way life goes. In-between bouts of trying to kick my Rust addiction (you really need to have no obligations whatsoever to succeed in that game), I don’t think I made a single dent in my Pile of Shame.

I did, however, play a really neat little propaganda sim called Not For Broadcast, which allows you to take over the reins at an 80s news station and twist the news as you see fit. I had a whale of time, its slapstick humour and surprisingly deep mechanics working wonders for me, though it is only rough a third complete with more content to come during its Early Access development.

How about you? Relived Goku’s story in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot? Became a very bad person in Saints and Sinners, a game that is tempting me dearly to get a PCVR? Or were there some games from your backlog that tickled your pickle? Let us know.
