The Outer Worlds

Private Division have announced that their space-faring RPG epic The Outer Worlds will be launching on Nintendo Switch on June 5th. The game unfortunately suffered a delay back in February as the developers of the Switch port, the Chinese based Virtuos Games, closed its studio due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The launch of The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch will come with both a physical and digital version, both of which will cost $59.99. The physical version will come with a day one patch that’s estimated to be about 6GB, and will optimise the graphics, gameplay, textures and more.

The Outer Worlds was one of the better games of last year, offering a well-rounded RPG experience in a similar vein to the likes of Fallout. If you haven’t played it yet, you can experience the game for yourself right now on PS4 or PC/Xbox as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if you’re already a subscriber, or you can wait until June 5th to play The Outer Worlds while on the toilet.
