The Game of Thrones Cast Say Goodbye In Emotional Video

It really is all over.

While the finale may not have been what we all wanted and Season 8 as a whole might have severely underwhelmed many, it’s still sad to see Game of Thrones go after being in a lot of our lives for nearly a decade.

To commemorate the end, HBO have just released a short goodbye featuring the cast thanking fans for all their support over the years. You imagine this was shot before ‘The Last of the Starks‘, because not a lot of fans have had a lot of love and support to give the show since then.

Check it out if you have a minute spare.

It’s clear that the show meant a lot to all of them, no less so than Emilia Clarke who nearly breaks down in tears. She was a young unknown actress when Game of Thrones began, as was Sophie Turner, who seems similarly upset. It’s been a massive part of their lives for a long time.

While I was left fairly jaded by how things ended, this goodbye video did make me need to clench my thighs with supreme masculine strength to not get a little emotional. It really is all over, isn’t it?

That is, of course, until we get the Tormund and Ghost spin-off that makes more sense than it should.

Elsewhere in Thrones town, the appearance of a water bottle in ‘The Iron Throne’ has set the internet abuzz, but we have some questions that we’d love answers to first and foremost.
