Sword and Shield’s Ball Guy Has Escaped From The Necronomicon

Don't believe his lies.

Sword and Shield's Ball Guy

Pokémon Sword and Shield aren’t for kids. Even if it may be one of the easiest mainline RPGs in franchise history, any youngling who treasures their soul should be advised to keep far, far away from the game. Why? Because of the Eater of Worlds known as “Ball Guy”.

Masquerading as your “friend” (as a general rule, if someone in life keeps on insisting that they are your friend, that usually means they are trying to suck your essence out of your ears as you sleep), Ball Guy can be found hovering around each gym and forcing balls upon the player.

He is also considerably taller than everyone else and has bleached skin, presumably as punishment by an oracle for killing his wife and son, their ashes fusing themselves to him as a constant reminder of his awful deed.

If you truly believe he is your friend, his black magic has worked. All demonic tricksters will lure you in with kindness, making you trust and confide in them. This just makes their meal even tastier, like soul seasoning, your empathy and kindness making your soul all the plumper.

Do not give in to the Ball Guy propaganda, a man with a name so transparently evil that he may as well be called Bad Guy. Look into those eyes for as long as you can and try to tell me that you don’t feel something insidious bubbling within, the kind of creature who sustains himself on children’s nightmares, a being so grotesque that Shinji Mikami himself wishes he designed him.

Ball Guy is not your friend.
