Street Fighter 6 is full of surprises, but perhaps one of the biggest for some players is the fact that the World Tour mode, the RPG single-player mode where you make your own character, also allows you to build friendships with the main roster of characters. Building friendships, or Bonds, offers plenty of rewards in World Tour, including new quests, new art for the gallery mode and plenty of top-tier items to help with some more troublesome bosses.

There are multiple ways you can increase your bond with masters in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour Mode, the most obvious one being giving them certain gifts. Throughout your adventures in World Tour Mode, you’ll receive items that can be given to your masters. Unlike other games that feature some kind of relationship building mechanic, the masters in SF6 appreciate any gift that’s given to them, instead of taking offense to being given a gift they don’t like.
That being said, certain masters are found of certain gifts. For instance, Juri works on her bike so handing her a wrench will make her happy. Meanwhile, Luke loves playing video games, so make sure to give him the horror video game. There are also special gifts that can only be given to certain masters. Ryu has quite the sweet tooth, and massively appreciates being given classic confectioneries, while meathead Zangief will enjoy dumbbells.
Other ways you can build your bond with masters includes talking to masters and answering certain questions correctly, defeating your masters in sparring sessions which unlock periodically as you increase your bond and master EXP level, and completing quests that your masters will send you out on. Completing master quests can also unlock special gifts that’ll increase your bond with other masters, so it pays to make friends.
