Street Fighter 6 World Tour – Blanka Master Guide

"No - I'm the jungle itself!"

Every fighting game franchise has the one character among the roster that your annoying little brother or cousin picks because they have that one cheap move. Street Fighter 2 was rife with them, whether it was Chun-Li’s kicks, E. Honda’s sumo slaps or Blanka’s electricity, and all three characters have made their way over to Street Fighter 6 too. Those moves are still included too, so if you want to equip your World Tour avatar with annoying electrical moves, you certainly can.

Having Blanka become your master in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode will open up your options in creating a truly unpredictable fighting style. How do you compete against someone that can switch from fireballs to cannonballing their own body at you from full-screen? With weapons like that on your side, you can become unstoppable, so here’s what you need to know to become Blanka’s student in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode.

The protector of the Amazon Rainforest and someone who just really loves his mum, Blanka has become quite the popular symbol in the Street Fighter world, with chibi dolls of the big green brute found across the world. Still, if you’re planning on finding him, you’ll need to trek into the depths of the rainforest itself, which in this game amounts to picking the option on the World Tour menu.

After failing to rescue your friend/rival Bosch from Juri in Chapter 5, Chapter 6 sees your first mentor Luke telling you to travel the world to clear your head. At this point, you’ll unlock two new destinations on the World Map, one of them being Ranger’s Hut. Head there and you’ll be introduced to Blanka as part of a cutscene. Once you regain control, walk on over to Blanka and speak to him again and he’ll agree to train you.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
