Aside from Blanka and his electric attacks, many gamers of a certain age probably consider E. Honda to be their most hated Street Fighter character, thanks to his annoying Hundred Hand Slap in SF2. Still, the sumo wrestler has always been an integral part of the Street Fighter franchise, appearing in some form of fashion in most games in the series since his debut, so his inclusion in Street Fighter 6 is no surprise.

With powerful grabs and attacks that can be launched from across the screen, E. Honda possess a lot of tools that players might want when competing against gangs and other fighters in the World Tour mode. If you’re hoping to join the sumo ranks and challenge your skills against a Yokozuna-level opponent, this is how you can become E. Honda’s student in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode.

E Honda is featured as part of World Tour’s main story during Chapter 8-4, where a mysterious information broker tasks you with finding information on a legendary fighter who happens to be hanging around a Japanese restaurant. Head over to Chanko House Edomon on the west side of Metro City, south of Urban Park, and you’ll trigger a cutscene introducing Mr Edmond Honda to the player.

After the cutscene, your mysterious informant will send you a text message asking for a photo of the big lad. In order to do so, head over to the in-game marker, then open your phone and access the camera app. If you’re in the right spot, you’ll be given the option to trigger Mission Mode, which is what you’ll need to select in this instance. Take the photo, back out of your phone and you’ll send the message to the Broker. After that, talk to E Honda and he’ll give you a tip about finding “Mr-Fireball-And-Dragon-Punch”. Talk to him again, and tell him you’re looking to get buff, and he’ll agree to train you in the ways of Sumo.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
