Star Wars Comes To Fortnite With Stormtrooper Skin

RIP your aim.

The interactive advert that is Fortnite rolls on with its newest promotion: a Stormtrooper skin to coincide with the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the Epic Games Store.

The Stormtrooper Skin is yours for free if you download Fallen Order from the Epic Games Store, which was certainly a surprise drop. Not only are EA now releasing their games on Steam, but it also appears as if they are working with Epic, too.

There’s no news on other EA games coming to the Epic Games Store, however. EA have yet to officially post anywhere about the new partnership.

Here’s the trailer for the skin.

The Imperial Stormtrooper skin costs 1500 V-Bucks if you want to purchase it from the Fortnite Item Shop. Its rarity is the “Star War Series”, which suggests that we will be seeing more Star Wars skins in the very near future. With the release of Fallen Order, The Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker later in the year, Star Wars season has well and truly begun.

Here’s what the Imperial Stormtrooper looks like.

What’s interesting is that there was absolutely no signs of this skin or collaboration coming, suggesting that Epic are changing the way they do things to limit leakers. After John Wick was leaked in Season 9, there were very few indications that Batman was coming to the game until he was officially unveiled.

I hope they release an LTM to coincide with this new partnership like they’ve done in the past, one where two teams of Stortroopers shoot at each other and continually miss until they all just quit.

The Stormtrooper skin is available for free to those who purchase Fallen Order on the Epic Games Store from now until November 30th, 2020.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
