Sons of the Forest: All Keycard Locations

Sons of the Forest requires you to break into various locations on the mysterious island. But to do so, you need three keycards during your playthrough that can unlock various doors. For example, you need both the Maintenance Keycard and Guest Keycard to get the Chainsaw. Similarly, a lot of other powerful items require you to have the Keycards so obtaining them first is a great idea.

Here are all three locations for the Keycards (Maintenance Keycard, VIP Keycard, Guest Keycard) in Sons of the Forest.

Maintenance Keycard

Head to the spot marked above until you find an area with golf carts. If you search the dirt around the area, you will notice a shovel icon pops up. Equip the shovel and start digging and you will find a hatch with “Maintenance A” written on it.

You can open the hatch after removing the dust and climb down a ladder. Once you head to the corridor, keep walking until you reach an open door on the right.

The orange maintenance keycard will be located right next to the furnishings and the 3D printer. Pick it up and you can leave the area.

VIP Keycard

Head to the marker above and you will find a fairly open area with a golf cart. Follow the cave tunnel nearby until you reach a square hatch.

There is a doorway right ahead, but you need to ignore it and look for a blue panel on the right in the kitchen area. Use the Maintenance Keycard and carry on.

There will be a few hydroponic gardens until you reach a dark corridor. Keep moving until you find a flight of stairs and you will find waterlogged hallways.

Make your way to the security surveillance room and you will find the VIP Keycard with the name Virginia Puffton on it.

Guest Keycard

To find the third and final Keycard, you need to head to the narrow cave entrance located in the marked location. Head inside and you will reach a room at the very end.

Inside, you will find a bed and a 3D printer, and you need to continue down the corridor toward the bright light. Open the door with the VIP Keycard and head through the gym.

You will head into a dim room with saunas and you need to head upstairs from there and move past the pool room and the bar. The purple Gues Keycard is located for Arnold Crand on a circular glass table with several dead bodies around it. Retrieve it and leave the area.

You now have access to all three Keycards in Sons of the Forest which will let you unlock doors and hatches throughout the island. Make sure you go hunting for the Keycards in the same order as what we listed above to avoid any backtracking.
