Ross Tones, aka Throwing Snow has been making waves ever since he turned up on Alexander Nut’s Ho_Tep label 6 years ago. Since then, he’s been throwing out tunes in just about every electronic genre you can name, and building up a colossal amount of hype in the process.
Cosms is the leading track from his forthcoming second full-length LP, after 2014’s Mosaic. The new one is called Embers, and it’s set to drop on the 20th of January. Being as eclectic as he is, you never quite know what you’re going to get with a Throwing Snow release, but if Cosms is the tone-setter, we could well be seeing something with a kind of ambient, introspective approach, certainly no bad thing.
