WWE Hall of Fame inductees, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, will be making their New Japan debut as part of the upcoming Fighting Spirit Unleashed tour in the United States. The Rock N’ Roll Express need no introduction to fans of traditional tag team wrestling, Gibson and Morton paved the way for all of our favourite tag teams of today and will continue to add to their legacy when they make their first appearance under the NJPW banner.
The tour begins on September 17th and will make pit stops in the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom on the 28th and the 2300 Arena on the 29th. Full cards and line-ups have yet to be revealed, but surely The Rock N’ Roll Express is enough to grab your intrigue.
Announced alongside the Express were Roppogni 3K and Lance Archer, some household names for avid NJPW fans. Is there a chance we’ll see Gibson & Morton lock up with some of these up-and-comers? Or might we see a clash between The Rock N’ Roll Express and The Bullet Club?
