Ubisoft Announce New Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend (UPDATED)

*very Bristolian voice* Another one?!

Siege Free Weekend

In what must be the tenth or so free weekend for it since the game launched, Ubisoft have announced that Rainbow Six Siege will be getting another free weekend from March 5th to March 8th.

Free players will get access to all maps, modes, and 20 legacy Operators, and those that play during the free weekend can carry their progress over if they purchase the full game. PC players can get up to 70% off on the Standard, Deluxe, Gold and Ultimate Editions of the game. With the Standard retailing for under £10/$10 almost everywhere, it’s a pretty enticing way to get you into the game on the super cheap.

Siege has enjoyed over 55 million players since it launched in 2015 and has come a long way since, growing from a promising but rough shooter with plenty of problems to one of the biggest eSports in the world. Ahead of the release of Operation Void Edge, the first season of the game’s fifth year, PC players can try out Oryx and Iana on the PC version’s Test Servers. Meanwhile, Clash is still banished to where she belongs.

We’re still waiting on exact timings for the free weekend; we will update this as we get them.

UPDATE: here’s when everything goes live for the free weekend.
