Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How To Evolve Fuecoco

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has three adorable starters for the new generation, and Fuecoco is the fire type. The adorable little fire crocodile must evolve at some point though, and as it gets stronger it has two evolutions, Crocalor and Skeledirge. Here’s how to evolve Fuecoco.

Reaching level 16 will evolve Fuecoco into Crocalor. It will immediately start to evolve and there’s no specific action players need to take to ensure this happens. Getting there as quickly as possible requires using Fuecoco in as many battles as possible and visiting Picnics for an EXP boost.

As with all starter Pokémon, Fuecoco also has a third evolution in the form of Skeledirge. Skeledirge takes on the appearance of a fully-grown, fire-breathing crocodile to intimidate any opponent. There’s slightly more of a grind on your hands here, as for Crocalor to evolve into Skeledirge, it must reach level 36. It also gains a secondary typing at its final evolution, going from a Fire type to a Fire/Ghost type.
