“Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokémon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out.” – Violet Pokédex entry
Sprigatito is one of three starting Paldea Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that is brand new to the franchise for Generation IX. Sprigatito are grass-type and can have two evolutions, the first of which is Floragato.
To evolve Sprigatito into Floragato, players have to level Sprigatito up to level 16. Levelling up is fairly straightforward in Scarlet and Violet, particularly in the early game thanks to EXP Share, so just keep on grinding the starting areas and winning battles.
If you wish to stop Sprigatito evolving into Floragato, just press B when they start to evolve, or give them an Everstone to hold. Sprigatito stop learning moves at level 36, with Play Rough being the last move they can learn without using a TM.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available now on Switch.
