Play Overwatch This Weekend As Part Of Xbox’s Free Play Days

Also Worms W.M.D and Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

Overwatch Summer

Xbox’s Free Play Days weekend event is back once again, with more games that Xbox Live Gold Members can sample for free should they so desire. This weekend, players will be able to download and play Overwatch: Origins Edition, Worms W.M.D and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, allowing you to get your ninja running practice in before the Area 51 raid. All three games are available to download right now, and are typically available until Sunday night/Monday morning.

No official announcement has been made yet regarding this event from Xbox at least, though Bandai Namco have tweeted about Naruto To Boruto’s availability.

It’s also unclear if Overwatch will be available for free on PS4 and PC, as their free weekends tend to be available across all platforms simultaneously. If any announcements are made regarding other platforms, we’ll let you know. Either way, you can take advantage of the current Summer Games event happening right now in Overwatch.

At this point, given the current heatwave that’s terrorising the UK, I’d recommend downloading Overwatch for free, just so you can play as Mei for the full weekend and remember what ice and snow look like. God, what I wouldn’t give to be frozen right about now. That said, you could take advantage of the heat, host a BBQ, then close the night with a game of Worms. It’d be a great way to distract yourself from the fact that the planet is literally on fire.
