Mortal Kombat 11’s Nightwolf Release Date Leaked

August 13th for Season Pass holders, according to Nintendo.

Mortal Kombat 11

According to an advert that appeared on Nintendo’s official site, Mortal Kombat 11’s second DLC character Nightwolf will launch for Kombat Pass members on August 13th, which means he’ll be available to purchase for standard users a week later. The advert in question no longer alludes to the release date, but several sites have picked up the leak.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon revealed the first official look at the Native American warrior over the weekend, which you can check out below. Nightwolf will be joining the likes of the already released Shang Tsung, along with Sindel and comic book character Spawn as part of the Kombat Pass. Two more characters will also form the rest of the Kombat Pass, though we don’t know who they are yet. Rumours have circulated that it’ll be Ash from The Evil Dead and The Terminator, which would be mental.

It’s likely that the release date reveal, along with potentially the other two characters in the Kombat Pass, will be announced during next weekend’s fighting game competition EVO, during which the Mortal Kombat 11 finals will headline on Saturday. Fighting game developers like to announce their big plans during this event, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see NetherRealm Studios follow suit. Will you be playing Nightwolf when he eventually launches? Let us know in the comments below.
