No Man’s Sky Synthesis Update Adds New Gameplay Features And Fixes Bugs

One of the most extensive updates yet.

If you’re one of the many people who plays No Man’s Sky, you might be pleased to learn that a new free update will be coming to the game on November 28 (tomorrow) which will allow you to upgrade your ship, along with adding a ton of new gameplay features.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, director and Hello Games founder Sean Murray laid out a detailed list of all the new features in tomorrow’s Synthesis update, which include the ability to trade in and upgrade starships, a VR Photo Mode, new customisable outfits, the option to ride creatures in VR, extra multi-tool functions, the option to flatten the terrain which you’ll be travelling along, and more.

In addition to all these new features, it’s also been promised on Hello Games’ official website that the Synthesis update will fix no fewer than 297 bugs which were already present in the game. And we can probably take their word for it, because by now, Hello Games have clearly learned to keep their promises.

Although its launch left much to be desired, the updates to No Man’s Sky released over the years have helped it to grow into something truly spectacular. So, whether you’re a veteran of No Man’s Sky or a newcomer looking to explore the galaxy, the release of such an extensive new update is the perfect excuse to hop in your ship and set off on an adventure across the stars.
