New Devil May Cry 5 Mod Adds 3-Player Co-Op

Mods to the rescue.

A new Devil May Cry 5 mod for PC has emerged that adds 3-player co-op to the game, building on the foundations of the Cameo System. The mod, spotted by wccftech and created by the modders Dante and Raz0r, allows 3-player co-op across the majority of the game’s missions, including the Bloody Palace survival mode.

The mod isn’t perfect just yet, as missions 6, 18, 19 and 20, along with the final floor of Bloody Palace, aren’t yet compatible due to a number of concerns with the mod, though the modders are asking for support from the community in order to help improve the mod in this regard. The mod also doesn’t allow for more than one character either, so no triple Nero teams for you.

The mod also adds some graphical options that were only available in cutscenes, such as mesh and texture quality. Given that the Cameo System in DMC 5 is, to put it nicely, woefully underutilised, a mod like this adds some use to a feature that could have been better fleshed out.
