My Hero One’s Justice 2 Launching March 2020

My Hero One's Justice

Bandai Namco have announced that My Hero One’s Justice 2, the sequel to the 3D arena brawler from 2018 based on the My Hero Academia franchise, will be launching on March 13th 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch.

The sequel will focus on Season 4 of the hit anime, kicking off with the battle between All Might and All For One, with the story following the plot of the series from there. My Hero One’s Justice 2 will also introduce a new playable character in the form of Sir Nighteye, former sidekick of All Might. Nighteye’s quirk, Foresight, allows him to see the moves his opponents will perform, making him a dangerous opponent.

Sidekicks have been given a boost in the sequel too, as they will now be able to perform Side Kick Plus Ultra attacks. Sidekicks will be able to execute their own Plus Ultra attacks while in battle, giving you more tools to work with, or more ways to get battered depending on how skilled your foe is.

We reviewed My Hero One’s Justice last year, and while there was certainly fun to be had, it simply wasn’t what it could have been. Hopefully, the sequel will address some of the problems from the original game, creating an experience worthy of the beloved franchise.
