A small possibility exists that the likes of MAPPA, Ufotable, or a similar production company could take the reins as the fourth season could be a totally original story, but the chances are incredibly slim.
Studio Bones is known to manage multiple projects simultaneously as it did with My Hero Academia: Season 6 and Mob Psycho 100: Season 3, but even so, they’ve never compromised on visuals. As the studio hasn’t once given a reason to complain, that’s more than enough for fans to support them to make the sequel.
