While Crunchyroll might have lost its almost complete exclusiveness from the old niche days, it’s still a big player in the anime world. It has a solid user base and a continuous stream of new (and old) content.
If you want to get the most out of Crunchyroll, there is a membership program with benefits by the name of Crunchyroll Premium. For example, you get no ads, access to every anime available, device streaming, digital mangas, and simulcasting.
It may seem like a nice investment, but, after some time with the service in hands, some people just lose interest. Or, you know, lose cash. If you’re one such person, you’ve come to the right place. How To Cancel Your Crunchyroll Premium Membership
In order to cancel your Crunchyroll Premium membership, you need to open your web browser, head over to Crunchyroll and log in. Then, just follow the steps below.
- In the top right corner, click on Profile.
- Select Settings.
- Under the section Account Settings, go to Premium Membership Status.
- Near your membership details, click on Cancel Membership, and confirm.
There you go. Keep in mind that your account will stay premium for the remainder of your last month’s payment. After that, it will revert to free.
As of today, you can’t cancel your Crunchyroll membership with an Android or iOS device. However, there is a new version for Crunchyroll’s website in the works (with a beta version available for tests). Maybe they release it with additional functions on mobile devices.
How To Cancel Crunchyroll Account

In order to cut ties with Crunchyroll, log into your Crunchyroll account with your web browser. From now on, it’s pretty easy. Just do the following:
- With your account logged in, head to Crunchyroll’s account nuke page.
- If you want, you can declare your reason for cancelling your account. If you don’t want to, then just go to the next step.
- Click Deactivate Now.
There, you’re done. No more Crunchyroll for you.
