As the main character in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the Hunter is an original character in the Marvel world who’s destined to fight their own mother — and look good at the same time. There are many different Hunter suits in Midnight Suns to unlock, though it’s not immediately clear what missions you have to complete or what steps you have to take.
While each Hunter suit is cosmetic, they also come with passive abilities that can be equipped independently, meaning that if you prefer the look of one suit but like the passive that comes with another suit, you’re free to mix and match as you see fit.
If you’re looking to unlock all the suits in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, here’s everything you need to know.
Hunter
Default outfit.
Borderline
Raise friendship with Nico, then research it at The Forge with the required Research level.
High Tech
Raise your research level and research it at The Forge with Tony and Stephen. Takes 5-10 hours.
Demonchylde
Make significant main story progress and research it at level 6 of Research. Cannot be missed. Passive is Heightened Senses and best used for the challenge missions to unlock new Words of Power as it resists for you and Charlie, also increase critical chance.
Faithbreaker
Part of the main story, cannot be missed. Ten or so hours of play required.
Salem
Collect all 22 carot cards. All Words of Power will be required. Salem’s Savior passive gives you a 50% chance to draw a card when you KO an enemy.
Dark
Reach 150 Dark balance — basically choose all the Dark cards and be mean to people.
Light
Reach 150 Light balance — basically choose all the Dark cards and be nice to people. Defender of the Light passive has an increased chance for light cards to be critical once drawn
Midnight Sun
Complete the Child of Darkness challenge after unlocking the research required for challenges at The Forge. Shadowstalker passive allows you to get Concealed if you redraw a Heroic card.
Ancestral
Get Break Words of Power, then go break down the door in Lilith’s Garden, go down the ladder and examine the altar. Ancestors’ Guidance passive means that your Hunter cards do not exhaust at all — very strong
Super
Complete the main story. Master of the Hunt passive makes all thresholds lower for the collar by 1.
