Little Nightmares 2: Chapter 2 Hat Locations (Ball Hat & Bucket Hat)

There are two hats to collect in Little Nightmares 2‘s second chapter, School, and 11 in total to collect across the game, though two are DLC and one is unlocked just for completing the game. However, you just need to collect eight normal hats for the Far Ahead trophy.

The first hat you can find is the ball hat, which is actually rather easy to miss as it blends right into its surroundings. Once you get onto the playground, go up to the stairs leading to the front door, then jump over the side into the dumpster and grab the ball hat you find there. If you equip this hat and then run through one of the goals, you will also earn the ‘Referee!’ trophy/achievement.

The second hat, the bucket hat, in Chapter 2 is even easier to miss, just as you will be on edge when trying to find it. When you enter the library with the ladder, instead of moving it all the way to the right, drag it about halfway. Climb up to the top and then into a little enclave to find the hat there waiting for you. There aren’t any other achievements tied to this one, but it sure is a neat accessory.

If you’re using chapter selection, you can then leave the chapter without any penalty — both of the hats will be added as progress.
