With Xbox Game Pass adding more games this month, it’s only natural for more games to be removed, and the same is true this month. As eight games are being added to the library across PC, Console and Cloud Gaming, five games are being removed from the service, one of which due to the game being discontinued.

The four games that are being removed from Xbox Game Pass on February 28th are as follows:

– Hypnospace Outlaw (Cloud, Console, and PC)
– Killer Queen Black (Cloud and Console)
– Stealth Inc 2 (Cloud and Console)
– Touhou Luna Nights (Cloud, Console, and PC)

While they might not seem like the biggest losses to the Game Pass library, Hypnospace Outlaw is widely regarded as one of the most unique and enjoyable indie games ever made. If you’ve got the time between now and the end of the month, it’s worth giving this one a go. Beyond that, take advantage of the inherent 20% discount of buying Game Pass games to ensure you own the game when it leaves the service, in so much as you can own a digital game anyway.

The fifth game leaving Game Pass is Titanfall, which is being dropped from EA Play as part of the game being discontinued. Titanfall is already unavailable to buy digitally, but the removal from subscription services is the next step. Still, it’s a bitter pill to swallow to see one of the best multiplayer shooters of a generation be put out to pasture in this way.
