Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC Betas Start This Month

Let's hope a full release follows soon after.

Halo Reach
Halo Reach

PC players have been waiting eagerly for the PC port of Halo: The Master Chief Collection since it was announced last month. A beta was also confirmed with no confirmed release date, but Halo’s Community Manager Brian Jarrard has announced that the betas will start this month, though for some reason they’re called flights. And don’t worry, he said it’s not an April Fool’s joke.

The MCC PC release will start with Halo Reach, with more betas coming down the line for other games in the series. Though the betas will start this month, this still doesn’t give an indication of when Halo: MCC will launch properly on PC, or when Reach will make its way to the Xbox One. I’m still wagering on a surprise launch during Xbox’s E3 Briefing.

If you want to sign up for the PC beta, you can sign up via Halo Insider, and tests will be made available on Steam and the Windows Store. Are you excited for Halo: The Master Chief Collection? Let us know in the comments below.
