The cinematic trailer for Fortnite Season 9 has just been released, and it might actually be my favourite one ever. Jonesy doesn’t even look ashamed of basically murdering and consuming Peely.

At the end of Fortnite Season 8, the Fortnite Island is in chaos, leading Jonesy and Peely to go underground. The pair have a tonne of fun to begin with until food runs out, at which point it looks like Jonesy turns on Peely.
We flash-forward to Jonesy, hairy as the day is long, walking out of the bunker into the future with Peely (or what’s left of him) in-hand after the new skins release them.
Fortnite Season 9 begins today (May 9th) with a Battle Pass costing 950 V-Bucks.
