Epic Games have released the trailer for the Fortnite X Mayhem trailer, which brings the world of Borderlands crashing onto the Fortnite island.
Players can look to a new Rift Zone over by Paradise Palms based on Pandora, as well as new cosmetics based on Psycho and Claptrap from the Borderlands series.
It also appears as if players will be turned cel-shaded once they enter the Rift Zone to coincide with the crossover and that chests will be transformed into crates from the Borderlands series.
It’s a bit of surprising crossover with no leakers having found the details in the game’s files, but considering that Borderlands 3 is a timed Epic Games Store exclusive, maybe we should have seen this coming.
