Fortnite Winterfest 2019 Challenges: Ice Boxes, Winterfest Cabin, Sneaky Snowman & More

What you need to know.

Fortnite nutcracker

With the first season of Fortnite: Chapter 2 winding down, you might expect that Epic would ease themselves into the Christmas break and not really do much to the game. Not the case. Not only do we have Star Wars challenges to complete and lightsabers to swing, but we also have Winterfest challenges for free cosmetic rewards.

Similarly to 14 Days of Summer from Season 9, Winterfest will feature a new challenge every day for players to complete with free cosmetic items as rewards. You don’t need the Battle Pass, so it’s the best way of getting more than the default items in Fortnite.

Available from December 18th, Winterfest challenges will ask you to dance and search like nobody’s business with a host of challenges set to keep you busy over the holiday period. Here’s what you need to know, datamined by Hypex, with one set to release each day.

As you can see, it’s quite the variety of challenges available for Winterfest with new ones being added daily. They’re intended to keep you playing throughout the Christmas break with rewards like free music packs, sprays, and even gliders and skins being worthwhile across the whole 14 days.

When Does Winterfest Begin and End?

After kicking off at roughly 2PM GMT on December 18th, it looks like Winterfest will run until January 7th, 2020, which gives you ages to get all of the challenges done.

Don’t forget that this season will also run extra long as the longest Fortnite season is history with the new season due sometime in February.

It’s been a rather interesting Fortnite season in general with updates being few and between after the massive overhaul that Chapter 2 provided, but now it looks like Epic are trying to make up for it. Here’s hoping Winterfest delivers plenty of fun.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
