With v5.41 now out in the wild for Fortnite, dataminers have been hard at work uncovering what the can in the game’s files, presumably just before the launch of season 6. They have found clowns. I am sorry to do this to you.
New skins have been unearthed following the release of the patch, which include a pair of clowns who should immediately be set on fire and sent back to the hole from which they came.
Judging from the ethereal clown in the backgrounds of these skins, they will be upgradable in the same way as the Tomato Man skin was with its own set of challenges. If one of those challenges is to make coulrophobes quit the game for good, you should be all set. The skins are of the Epic variety.
Another skin was unearthed during the datamine by the name of Valkyrie, which also looks suitably unnerving but less hellish, despite the fact that it glows. Having looked at it for a bit too long, it just reminds me of this century old meme. I do not know why.
