Like last week, this week has two Battle Pass challenges that can be a little on the trickier side to complete. This walkthrough focuses ‘treasure hunt’.Similar to last week’s challenge, you’re tasked with finding a treasure. However, you’re told to search between three cryptic locations instead of following a map. For the curious, this type of challenge was present last season as well. The areas you need to search between are: a Scarecrow, a Pink Hotrod and the Big Screen.
Below is a picture of the main map with the general area you’ll be looking in. I’ve included a zoomed in view for the curious with circled each landmark in a specific colour. Pink for the pink hotrod, orange for the scarecrow and yellow for the Big Screen. The treasure is circled in blue. For those more concerned with expediency, you can skip straight to the treasure itself to complete the challenge (same as last week).
Fortnite Week 2 Treasure Hunt Locations
Pink Hotrod
This is what the pink ‘hotrod’ looks like. They just put an esky on top of the bonnet to make it look like it had one of those huge engine intakes. Found just north of Risky Reels, atop a small hill with another car.
Scarecrow
Just your typical scarecrow. Found east of Risky Reels, southeast of the houses.
The Big Screen
The Big Screen is in title case to hint that it’s a literal cinema screen you’re looking for. Found on the southernmost edge of Risky Reels.
The Treasure
The treasure lies between the three aforementioned landmarks, atop a small hill east of Risky Reels (not as far as the scarecrow). Once you grab the treasure you’re done with this particular Battle Pass challenge.
