Growing your village in Fortnite LEGO is the name of the game, but you can hardly call yourself a village if you don’t have villagers. Villagers are an integral part of the Fortnite LEGO experience, and adding villagers to your village is a pretty simple process.
In order to add more villagers, you first need to establish your village using the Village Square station. Once you’ve built your village square, you’ll immediately attract a villager who’d love to stay with you. However, in order to convince them to stay full time, you need to also build a bed for them. Beds can be found in the Furniture section of the Build Menu, and require 10 wood to be built.
The bed doesn’t need to be in a shelter, so just plonk it down somewhere near your village square, and you’ll find yourself with another villager that you can convince to do jobs. You can have up to five villagers stay in your village, with a new villager slot unlocking a Village Level 3, 5, 8 and 10.
If you’re hoping for certain villager types, it’s worth noting that the villagers who spawn in are random, much like how villagers work in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, you can build multiple villages in one world, so if you really want Meowscles to live in your village, establishing multiple villages might be the way to go.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
