How is your hunt for XP going in Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3? With us now entering Week 2, you should already be making some decent progress on your Battle Pass, which will go even quicker if you Gather or Consume Foraged Items at the Orchard for this week’s challenges.
This isn’t the most difficult challenge in the world, but seeing as how Season 3 completely changed the map, it’s difficult to know where to begin when looking for The Orchard. As fpr its foraged items, that’s a whole lot easier — it certainly has no shortage of those.
The Orchard is located to the direct north of Frenzy Farm, F2/F3 on the Fortnite grid.
As where you can find those foraged items, you will want to drop in the fields and wooded areas. Check them out circled below.
You can find apples and cabbages in plentiful supply at The Orchard. The apples can be found in the woodland, while cabbages have their own special patch.
Here is what the apples look like.
And here are the cabbages.
For Season 3, Epic has wisely made it so that you can pick up foraged items and carry them around to be consumed later. This makes this challenge an absolute doddle as you no longer have to take damage to complete a foraged items-based challenge. There’s also plenty to go around, so you shouldn’t struggle to collect them if there are other players nearby.
You can also yeet cabbages at enemies, but their combat effectiveness is somewhat up for debate.
Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
