Fortnite: Destroy Sentry Cameras or Sentry Turrets

A fairly straightforward challenge, all things considered.

Week 3 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 is here, meaning that we have a whole host of new challenges to look forward to, this time under the name “TNTina’s Trial”. The first week of this two-week challenge set asks you to Destroy Sentry Cameras or Sentry Turrets, which is easier than it sounds.

It seems that Epic are trying a little something different with their challenges this season, making every two weeks specific to a certain agent, i.e. one of the new Battle Pass skins. If you complete all of the challenges across two weeks for one of the agents, you then get the option of choosing between either the Shadow or Ghost variation of their skin for a new style.

To Destroy Sentry Cameras or Sentry Turrets, it’s really quite straightforward. The new spots on the map all have these.

As you can see the Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets are spread out pretty far and wide across the Fortnite map, but we would recommend that you land at The Grotto.

The Grotto

The Grotto has both of these sentries in close proximity to each other, is easy to navigate, and is possibly the least popular out of all of the big new POIs to try your luck at.

Sentry Cameras don’t pose a lot of a threat to you, they simply alert Henchmen to your whereabouts. You should be able to destroy them with just a few swings of your pickaxe, no trouble at all.

Sentry Turrets

Meanwhile, Sentry Turrets are a far trickier proposition as they possess 2500 HP. They can hone in on you and constantly shoot you for 5 damage, often persisting even if you put up a wall. We would recommend that you try to stick to the Sentry Cameras, coning any Turrets that you come across instead.

All in all, certainly not the trickiest challenge to dust off, but one that is far easier if you land at one of the quieter new POIs, or one that is the furthest from the route of the Battle Bus.

Don’t forget, if you are looking for the Deadpool challenges this week, they release Fridays instead at 2PM GMT.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
