Epic love to mix up the Fortnite loot pool every season in a pretty drastic way, especially when it comes to the Pump Shotgun. Vaulted three times in the past, the weapon has now been unvaulted for the launch of Chapter 2 – Season 6.
And it’s actually one of the only normal weapons left in the game following a massive amount of vaulting.
This was first noticed courtesy of Hypex, who found the Pump back in the files for the new season, along with a whole host of new and returning items. You can rest assured that this is going to be quite the major season of Fortnite.
Here’s everything coming back and being unvaulted in Season 6:
– Pump Shotgun (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
– Revolver
The Pump Shotgun can be found as regular loot, but you can also use Season 6’s new crafting system to upgrade to the Epic and Legendary versions by using Mechanical Parts.
Fortnite’s Pump Shotgun is one of the most polarising weapons in Fortnite. While it’s definitely a very strong weapon, it’s pretty overpowered in the hands of good players, especially when it’s in its Epic and Legendary variants. It’s the only weapon in the game that is capable of a 200 headshot that isn’t a scoped weapon, meaning it can end fights in a second.
