We are now entering the sixth week of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3 and with Team Challenges entering the mix, the only really interesting regular challenge this week asks you to Catch A Weapon at Stack Shack.
Stack Shack is in quite an unpopular area on the west side of the map, but you can rest assured that there will be countless other players landing there this week to dust off this challenge.
Here’s everything you need to know to Catch A Weapon At Stack Shack in Fortnite.
Fortnite Stack Shack Location
You can find Stack Shack in Fortnite in the west of the map. The Stack Shack itself is a small hut atop a little island that is very easy to miss. It’s not a Named Location so you may not be familiar with it.
Drop in at A4 to find Stack Shack. It’s circled in red in the maps above.
How To Catch A Weapon
Fishing was added at the start of Chapter 2 and has been a popular mechanic in the time since. There’s a barrel filled with Fishing Rods at Stack Shack.
To complete this challenge, all you need to do is look out for a water pool surrounding Stack Shack in the seas and then cast your Fishing Rod or shoot your Harpoon Gun with you either getting a fish or a weapon.
With the Fishing Rod, wait until you feel a tug and then instantly pull it back. Harpoon Guns immediately pull something out of water pools.
Catch A Weapon At Stack Shack Video Guide
This is really the only somewhat tricky challenge this week in Fortnite, what with every other one being fairly self-explanatory. The only real issue with it will be other players. There’s a finite amount of fishing spots around Stack Shack, so you may have trouble getting this one down ahead of other players.
If you’re really struggling, we recommend, as always, that you drop into Team Rumble as you have plenty of chances to try again if you are eliminated and players in that mode generally aren’t as competitive as the main modes.
This challenge will go live at the usual time for the season.
