Final Season Of Content Coming For Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Final round.

Street Fighter V

Capcom have announced that Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will receive one final season of content, which will add a total of five new fighters to the game. Five characters for the fifth game’s fifth season, with three additional stages to boot. Sounds good to us.

In a blog post about Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, which at the time of writing, you’d be lucky to even access as the site is down, Capcom revealed that the fifth and final season came a result of the popularity of Season 4 and the Champion Edition: “Due to the positive reception to Season 4 and Champion Edition, we are planning to do a final Season ‘V,’ which will add ‘V’ more fighters to the roster. Three new stages are also being planned.”

Capcom have also stated that they’ll be providing more details about this final season of content “this Summer”, with an announcement during EVO Online looking most likely, as Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is part of the main line-up of games scheduled for the digital event.
