Fallout Shelter Drops on Android on August 13th

Fallout Shelter

Android users, your time to procrastinate and waste your youth is nigh: the Fallout Shelter app will be coming to a device near you as of August 13th, according to reports coming out of Quakecon 2015.

Painfully addictive and hilarious (apparently anyway, I have a Sony Xperia Z3 and have been unable to play it yet), the app has been more than kind in helping fans of the franchise wind down the time until Fallout 4’s imminent release. Now that more players across all manner of devices can get involved, it looks like there are going to be a lot of busy shelters.

The gameplay in Fallout Shelter is a lot like like Tiny Tower but with the added Fallout humour that makes the post-apocalyptic series so beloved. After such a winning formula on iOS, Android users (myself included) are eagerly awaiting the app’s release. Oh, and Mr. Handy will also be making an appearance which is a neat bonus.
