E3 2018: EA Comment On Pay-To-Win Controversies

Battlefront 2

At E3 2018, EA addressed their recent controversies by taking to the stage and pledged that they would strive to be better.

They promised not to introduce pay-to-win mechanics in their games, coming off the back off the massive outpouring of controversy directed towards Battlefront II.

They also revealed that they are working with charities and have raised millions of dollars for them and that gaming should be for everyone.

That they would admit that they had to evaluate who they are as a company is good, but there was nothing on Ultimate Team and how their games would deal with gambling mechanics going forward.

They did not mention Skate 4, so they are not off the hook just yet.
