Nintendo have announced July’s update for the NES and SNES Nintendo Switch Online Collection, and while there are only 3 games in total, one of them is considered to be an all-time classic. Check out the tweet from Nintendo themselves below.

On July 15th, the NES collection will see The Immortal added to its library, while the SNES collection will be bolstered by the additions of Natsume Championship Wrestling and Donkey Kong Country. While The Immortal and Natsume Championship Wrestling are some obscure picks, it’s Donkey Kong Country that’ll trigger the nostalgia for a lot of players.

Donkey Kong Country was a Rare platformer that helped launch Donkey Kong as a viable icon for Nintendo, aided by the fact that the game had ahead of its time graphics and superlative gameplay. Seriously, how Rare managed to pull off those 3D-esque graphics on the SNES is staggering. Will you be playing Donkey Kong Country, or the other games, when they become available on the Nintendo Switch next week? Sound off in the comments.
