Super Rare Games Announce Physical Switch Version Of SteamWorld Dig & Heist

Available separately or as part of a double pack.

SteamWorld Dig

Super Rare Games have announced that their next project is in fact two games, as they’ll be selling limited physical versions of SteamWorld Dig (which includes SteamWorld Dig 2 on the cartridge) and SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition for the first time on Nintendo Switch.

The partnership with Image & Form Games comes as the SteamWorld series celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. What better way to celebrate the news than to start selling some extremely limited physical copies of some of the series’ biggest hits? The physical versions will include a full-colour manual, some interior artwork, an exclusive sticker and 3 randomly chosen trading cards out of a special 5 card set.

Pre-orders for both games will go live on the Super Rare Games website on July 9th at 6pm BST for £30, which equates to around $31 or €33, and the items will be shipped soon after going on sale. With only 5000 copies of SteamWorld Dig and 6000 of SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition, you’ll have to act fast. If you’d like both games, there will also be a special collector’s double pack that’ll sell for around £60 with only 3000 copies. Will you be purchasing these physical SteamWorld games? Sound off in the comments.
