Destroy All Humans! Remake Confirmed, Releasing Next Year

Why is Rammstein playing in the trailer? Why are we questioning this?

Destroy All Humans!

THQ Nordic have gone three for three with their killer E3 announcements. After Battle for Bikini Bottom and Darksiders Genesis, the publishers have announced that they will be bringing a remake of the 2005 cult classic Destroy All Humans! to PS4, Xbox One and PC next year. Check out the announcement trailer below, accompanied by a soundtrack of Rammstein’s Ich Will of all things.

The first Destroy All Humans! saw the alien with a bad attitude Crypto arrive in a parallel version of 1950’s Earth, armed with enough space lasers, telekinesis and city destroying bombs to mount a full hostile takeover of the planet. It’s so incredibly silly, tongue-in-cheek and utterly enjoyable, and we’re hoping that we’ll still have a laugh with Crypto and his tools (anal probe) 15 years later.

Development of the original game was handled by the now defunct Pandemic Studios, while Black Forest Games will be handling the remake. Are you excited for the return of one of gaming’s most beloved aliens? Let us know in the comments.
